Private Cello Lessons

I’m very fortunate to have always had teachers whom I consider to be my beacons in life, and that goes beyond just the way they play the cello: It is their spirit of always being curious, always ready to listen, and always willing to learn new things, to reconsider the repertoire that they have spent decades living and breathing from fresh perspectives.

I want to pass on that curiosity for all things in life to my students, and I believe that the problem-solving and communication skills cultivated through playing an instrument will naturally bleed into other areas in life. Music is a beautiful gift, and I want my students to be able to take it with them on their journey, whatever it may be.
